We offer a Phonemic Awareness Program that will reinforce strong Phonics that provides a firm foundation for Reading, Writing, and Spelling. Math will be full of daily fun, enriching activities that will engage children and build good building blocks for future learning. We will also offer Bible, Science, Social Studies, Spanish, Sign Language, Art, Music, and PE to provide a well-rounded education for your child.

Curriculum Overview:

All About Reading: All About Reading is an excellent curriculum based on Phonemic Awareness. It teaches children the basic sound each letter makes and then builds upon that foundation to create proficient and fluent readers. The kindergarten curriculum begins with readers and transitions to learning the phonemes to teach children to read. Many of the stories involve consonant-vowel-consonant patterned words that children will read once the phonemes are acquired. All About Reading is a foundational program that will usher non-readers into a world of fluent reading if used on a consistent, daily basis.

Saxon Math: Saxon Math is a spiral-type of curriculum that incorporates all types of math processes regularly. Learning is not isolated and segregated. Children re-visit learned concepts and continue to build on them. Students learn about patterning, graphing, numbers, telling time, money, and shapes. Much of the learning occurs in a group setting and involves much class discussion and fun group activities that make math concepts concrete.

Galloping the Globe: Galloping the Globe is a fun curriculum that introduces children to the world around them. It exposes children to different cultures and customs, people groups, geography, and animals that live on different continents and countries. Children learn that other children worldwide have lives that are very different from ours, yet they have similarities. Children will learn about homes, food, stories told by ancestors… as they explore other continents. Also, maps, book lists, recipes, missionary stories, exciting activities, and scripture resources are provided to create fun and stimulating exposure to the world around them.

History for Little Pilgrims: History for Little Pilgrims is an excellent curriculum to teach children what the Bible says to them. They will learn about His story as they learn new information about how God created the world, His promises, Bible stories, and the Christian church’s history. After each reading, there are questions for each chapter that provide a stepping stone for further discussion and reinforcement of the lessons.

Christian Liberty Nature Reader: Christian Liberty Nature Readers are a fun science curriculum that teaches children about nature innocently and interestingly, causing students to wonder about and appreciate all God has created. It is written sweetly that children will savor while learning many details about how particular insects and animals live in their environment.

ABC Sign & Color: Clever and kid-friendly, this introduction to signing features whimsical illustrations to color and the basics of both American Sign Language (ASL) and the American Manual Alphabet for finer spelling words. Each page features a precise drawing of a hand letter and sign and common words beginning with the letter.

Teach Them Spanish!: Teach Them Spanish will guide you through eight functional theme units at the beginning of Spanish. Age-appropriate lessons are organized by topics familiar to young learners. Themes include greetings, colors, numbers, foods, clothing, classroom objects, community, and family. Each topic includes activities and includes oral, physical, and straightforward written practice. There are many games (both action and board), puzzles, and songs.

Learning About God: This study teaches children about God through Bible stores that highlight doctrines, biblical principles, and character traits. The emphasis is on being, not just doing.
